Keeping the Vigil

Nome IX — The Tax List

THE CENSUS

The drowned republic kept one list above water. Not the heroes, not the dead — the taxpayers. Every wallet is weighed against every token the tribe has ever launched, and the clerk writes a number beside your name.

The census records no man above one part in a hundred. The republic is not a throne.

◇ The Treasury ◇

Every drop the clerk records is a claim on what comes. When the republic opens its treasury, the faithful are called first — rewards, relics, rations of whatever the forge next strikes. The Vigil rewards those who showed up, not those who arrived late.

You are not on the roll.

Connect a wallet, sign one declaration, and the ledger weighs your house against every kekfun token. No email, no password — the wallet is the citizen. Rank decides how fast your cistern fills.

Connect Wallet · Be Counted

The cistern starts filling the moment you are counted. Every day you return, more is banked — and when the treasury opens, the faithful are called first.
